Q:  Who can use the camp school?

A:  The camp school is available to all government and private schools.  

We are also available to Community and Sporting Groups, though, use of the Department's Camp Schools are governed by its policy which stipulates that we cater to groups and not individuals and that groups are covered by a minimum $5 million public liability insurance to cover any potential liability for any third part injury, property loss or damage arising from the group's activity however full cover required for individual groups is as below:  

 PASSIVE$5 million public liability insurance. Example: speech on school premises, craft bee on school premises.           ACTIVE - $10 million public liability insurance. Example: bike riding; football training; swimming, canoeing/rafting.

**School groups will be given priority over other groups.

Q:  How do we book?

A:  The easiest way is to contact us on (08) 9776 1277 or by email to check date availablity for your requirements.  Alternatively, please complete our Booking Enquiry Form with your preferred dates and email this form to Pemberton.CS@education.wa.edu.au and our office staff will contact you to advise availability. 

Q:  How soon will we know if our booking is confirmed?

A:  Once we receive your request and the availability is established, we will forward you our ‘Booking Form and Hire Agreement’ together with your ‘Deposit Invoice’ and a link to our ‘Welcome Package’ which is available on our website.  Payment of your deposit and the return of your signed ‘Booking Form and Hire Agreement’ will then secure your booking.

Q:  How many can you accommodate?

A:  We have a total of 59 beds (including adults and bus drivers).  We can accommodate slightly larger groups by negotiation with the Camp Manager.

Q:  What are the benefits of booking with your camp?

A:  We do the hard work for you, offering a one stop booking process for all in camp activities and excursions, issuing one invoice to cover all charges incurred.  While we have a number of specialised programs at a subsidised rate, we also offer many camp run activities that are inclusive in your fees conducted by our Camp Manager and/or qualified instructors minimising your own camp costs.

We also offer Excursion Management Plans for most excursions, water based activities and other related programs.

Q:  Do we pay GST?

A:  Meals and Accommodation rates at the Camp School are ‘GST Free’, though you may be subject to GST from some External Excursions providers.

Q:  What disabled facilities are there?

 A:  Wheel chair access is available to all areas with disabled toilet and shower located near the admin building.
